Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to growth by matching customer needs with Walter's complete product and service offerings. You will work closely with distributors and end-users, identifying needs through active listening and creating tailored solutions that increase productivity. Every interaction counts – from planning visits to negotiating contracts.

Your responsibilities include:

• Building strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
• Marketing and selling complete product and service solutions.
• Coordinating internal resources to deliver optimized results.
• Reporting activities and sharing insights that strengthen business decisions.

Location and flexibility

You will work from home and be based in the Småland or Västergötland area – such as Skövde, Mullsjö, Alingsås, Ulricehamn, Mariestad, Linköping, and Jönköping. You will have close contact with our office in Halmstad, where inside sales and other functions are located, and where joint meetings are often held. The office serves as a natural hub for collaboration, support, and sharing experiences.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a solid technical background in engineering or equivalent knowledge in cutting tool technology. You have experience in structured territorial sales, solution selling, and using digital tools to support our customers' success. Working independently and managing a virtual office setup comes naturally to you. Since you work locally and belong to a global organization, you need good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.

You build trust and long-term relationships through clear and confident communication, active listening, and effective negotiations. You work in a structured and methodical way, plan and follow up on your efforts, and keep track of both the big picture and details. With curiosity, perseverance, and a collaborative mindset, you tackle every challenge and create solutions that deliver real value.
